This shirt gets into the murky area of what is and what is not a free t-shirt. At the time I had received this shirt, I was quite the SoBe drinker because I enjoy the drink and it was relatively cheap. Back in those days, if you collected three caps and then sent them in they would send you back the t-shirt they were offering for that campaign. Memory is strong, but not strong enough to remember which caps in particular were needed to get this shirt. The two SoBe shirts are then on the edge of freedom only because back when I drank a lot of SoBe anyway, and was getting the shirt free for something I did regardless of promotions.
Later on, a large manila envelope arrived at my residence that included the shirt, a vendor sticker for SoBe Power (one of my favorite flavors), and a handwritten letter from "the Lizard King". It was all cheesy, but it was also all great fun. Friends remarked that I finally was able to get all of the right caps; as I had missed getting another shirt by a day, despite the fact that I had saved every cap from every bottle I had purchased. The letter was slightly amusing; sadly, I threw it away as I had not yet conceived of the Free Shirt Archive at that time.
As is apparent to anyone who has perused the archive, long sleeves is a rare commodity in the free shirt world. I personally am a short-sleeved person. How else would I be able to keep my farmer's tan? Beds tan too much of the body and holding your arms out of the car can be dangerous.
One reason I have contempt for the common person is that they are inclined to think this is the best shirt in my collection. I receive more compliments on this shirt then any other shirt, especially if the person does not see the back. It is easy to see why, the cleanness of the design and the small design is all the rage at the moment. This shirt was designed for people to want to wear it out and be cool. I like the compliments, but usually I must discredit them to myself because those who lavish the praise are usually the sheep that will scoff at this site while wearing an Adidas, Prada, whatever is the style of the moment shirt THAT THEY HAD TO PAY FOR! Suckers.
This shirt's front design also exhibits butterfly symmetry, which is special for any shirt.
