General Nutrition Center is a chain health product store that I never really had a use for at any time in my life. I am not the exercise or lose weight by buying anything type. I used to have my parents get me sunflower seeds when I was on a huge kick of that persuasion when I was a bit younger. One time they bought some from GNC because we happened to be in the mall. I do not know whether or not GNC still maintains a store in that location anymore since I have not been to that or any mall in ages. I know that they have a location in one of the many plazas near my home. Having two stores that close together is foolish. Donor Josh likes to buy stuff from that particular GNC when things go on sale. I appeciate his dedication to thrift.

I recall when I was ten, I was not allowed further than around the block. I decided that I should be allowed to go further than that for a period of time. One of those adventures took me to the mall by way of riding my tiny bike. I only had a quarter so I walked around trying to find a way to spend it. I found the old GNC and took a fitness test that said I was fit. Of course, the test was designed for normal adults, and I was quite a portly child that somehow rode a bike through fierce traffic to get to the mall.

Had my father known that I had done this, I would have been in serious trouble. He slept the entire time this went on being that he was on the night shift. My mother worked during the day, so she was not there to stop me at that time of the day.

My mom only found out after I went to a drug store near my father's, and by extension at that time my own, barber Rudy. The barber called and thankfully my mom answered the phone that day. The barber was always kind of dick like that. I understand that he had concern, but on the other hand he could have said something to me instead of going straight to the top. Before and after this incident, he would always roughly force my ears down because he was an old man who had no idea how hard he pulled them down. I'd be surprised if he were still alive now.
