This is the front of the shirt which is further described below.
Beware of the Evil Eye
Physical Description: Drawn in green, a chap wearing a top hat, bow tie and an overcoat is looking at you out of his left eye. His eye is red. Underneath the man, in red is written "Beware Of The," and in a white, pirate-like font, "evil eye." All of this, my love, on the front.

My aunt gave me this shirt one summer day at her house. I can not remember much else about that day other than getting this free shirt.

The other memory I have of that day was driving down to a record shop called the Purple Phrogg (I have a red Purple Phrogg shirt that I HAD TO PAY FOR, so you won't be seeing it in the Free Shirt Archive, even though it is 1 of 15 made and Al is a cool guy) with this shirt over the rarely used passenger seat. John and Tom later showed up at the Phrogg and after seeing the shirt on my seat they commented on it.

The very first time Mac saw it, he thought I bought it because of Fu Manchu's first song on their best album, The Action Is Go. Not so, the free shirt mission is the reason I wear the shirt. If someone had a red evil eye, they'd be unapproachable, unapproachable, unapproachable. I had an evil grin on my face six hours before.

Sometimes shirts you wear a lot do not have much to write about on them. This shirt is a clasic case of what I just described. Readers might think the amount of words I type is proportional to how much I like the shirt. Not so.

Finally, at least a little tidbit of information. This shirt has always gotten some reaction from people. However, this is the first shirt to be appraised. I went to the gas station one late night after a show and one of the guys working said he liked my shirt. OK. He said that people would pay good money for it since there are not many shirts as cool as this one. I asked him what he thought it would fetch. He said probably around $30. I told him that was more than what I would have expected. Who knows, he may have been lowballing me to try to part me from this shirt with good advice on it.
