This is the front of the shirt which is further described below.
The American Red Cross
Physical Description: The design is presented on the front center of the free shirt. "The American Red Cross" is proudly proclaimed at the beginning of the design. The letters are red and serif that are outlined in yellow, and black. Next, "Be A Hero" is demanded of the viewer of the shirt. The letters are thicker and reverse the yellow and red of the first mention of the "AMERICAN RED CROSS". A bunch of purple and indigo clouds appear as a backdrop to a lot of flags. There are 24 flags in all. All of the flags have a red "+" symbol on them. It is as if the anti-Swiss army has appeared on my chest... and they want blood! "© 1998, Famous Artists" is underneath the fury. "Please Give Blood" is pleaded as the sum of red letters with a clear and then black outline. There is a red cross followed by black letters saying "American Red Cross". "1-800-GIVE-LIFE" is small and black.

I do not mind donating blood. It is an easy way to help other people out. Yet, I admit that I should do it more often than I do. Part of why I do not donate as often as I should is that it is hard to remember to keep up on a once every 56 day habit. Plus, finding a place to donate and work it into my schedule is not always simple. Blood donation is certainly something I would do all of the time if I could do it myself, but I am glad that the Red Cross does not accept blood in this manner.

I know there has been an occasion or two where I got someone else's blood. I would like to thank whoever the donors were for the small sacrifice that they indirectly made for me. If I could do more to honor them that with a paragraph they may never read, I would. I do not think that I can do anything for them, but I try to do more for others with sporadic blood donation.

I once got more than I deserved for donating blood. This time was when I won a television for donating blood while I was on the clock at the grocery store that I worked at. I did not even want the television, but I had to fill out a slip so that I would be excused for the time that I spent in the bloodmobile.

O+ is the blood type that flows through these veins and arteries. As such, I really should be out there donating more often than I am since O is the universal donor. I guess I just naturally have something to give that other people can use other than commentaries on freedom.

Would I bleed for you? Yes.

PLEASE HOLD ON TO YOUR DONATIONS FOR THE TIME BEING!
5" x 7" containers are the best fit, but it's cool if your donation is bigger.
A name would be nice, too.
